we're looking at. there have been some shower activity across the area now moving on to the eastern shore. that should be the only moisture we see on the morning commute. by afternoon maybe a couple of showers around. 71 on tv hill. sure is a merky looking more. 3 degrees warmer than the time yesterday. 90 at lunch going to a high of 93. chris ty breslin and i love this humidity for our hair. >> not a good hair day. in mid middle river we have that utility poll blocking the right lane at a 1. we have a -- at 151. we have a lot of road closures because of water main breaks, light street closed, also fleet street. as far as the harrisburg expressway goes, no problems in either direction.

30 homemade grenades designed to kill whoever walked in. among the evidence found, a bat man mask. >> we're building a case to show that this was a process by a very intelligent man who wanted to do this. >> president obama spent several hours here on sunday in a private meeting with the families of the victims. he said he told them he wasn't here as president but as a father and a husband. >> we can all understand what it would be to have somebody that we love taken from us in this fashion. >> sunday night thousands gathered to mourn. the shooting has shaken this community. the governor read the name of each of the victims and the crowd yelled back. >> we will remember. >> but there was one name he didn't read are, -- read, that of the alleged shooter. >> i refuse to say his name. >> the people of aurora are trying to let go of the pain.

against former coach jerry sandusky. early sunday morning crews wrapped the 900 pound sculpture in a tar p and put it into storage, leaving penn state pans with mixed emotions. >> i think it should be taken down since he knew what was going on. >> he's not alive, he can't defend himself. >> i think it was -- it had to happen. there was too much con controversy. >> now the school prepares for more bad news. the football team is about to get hit with unprecedented sanctions. penn state football will not face the so-called death penalty, the suspension of its program for a year or more. sources say the n ncaa punishment will include probation, loss of football scholarships, ban on post season bowl games and a fine which could hurt the football program for years. >> penn state is going to pitch -- is

expected to be released. drivers are seeing higher prices a t the pump for the 3rd straight week. the current average is $3.47 nationwide. taking a look at the prices here in maryland. right now the average for gallon of regular is right if line with the national average at $3.47. a month ago we were paying $3.37. some big money is going to help local kids. mike hellgren reports on how the cruise industry is giving back here in baltimore. >> baltimore's successful cruise industry serves more than a quarter of a million passengers every year bringing in $9 oh million to the local economy. now the cruise lines are writing big checks, 50 0 -- 5000 500

this month a local barber is featured. more on how he's helped thousands of people turn their lives around. >> by trade robert cradle is a barber. over the years these tools have been a lot more than just trim hair. >> it makes me feel wonderful to know that i'm giving them confidence. >> cradle opened up his first barbershop in 1991. there he met a representative from a homeless shelter. >> their population didn't have access to regular grooming. >> krad cradle -- cradle decided to help and created a donation box. >> i would send one of my barbers down there or i would invite a group from the shelter up to cut their hair. >> it blossomed into rob's barbershop community found, a

including 6-year-old veronica and her mother. the shooting started. >> it was terrifying because i couldn't see the person who had done it. >> when the shooting stopped caylin tried to give veronica c pshgs cpr but a fallen adult fell on top of them. >> they kept saying they couldn't move, they were numb. i was begging the person, please try because we have to get out out here. >> she kept struggling until the police arrived. >> love that she thought of somebody else besides herself. that is amazing to me. >> it's horrifying picturing in

reality show, what was your reaction back then? >> the key to that was we always knew we had a reality show, real things with real situation was reality. it was you neck -- unique when they came to us. my first response was yes, my children's response was no. fortunately i won and we have a hit show on true tv. >> you do have a hit show. i have to admit i watch from time to time. the stuff that comes through your 50,000 square foot facility, right ? >> it feels with 1,000 people each and every day. we do about 850 loans per day. >> really? >> yeah. it's a very unique situation. we know what we're doing. we know how to handle our customers. we do it well. because of that we have a very successful pawnshop. we're very pleased with it. >> everybody knows how the pawn business works. do you have more customers now that you're

on tv or does some shy away because of the cameras? >> well, my pawn customers have a tendency when the cameras are there to shy away. my retail customers loves it. we opened up the doors to having people understand the great values and the bargains at a pawnshop. people never frequented them, they twoent their mall jewelry and electronic store. now they see there's tremendous value at their local pawnshops. local pawnshops are basking in that light. >> i never thought about that. you said your pawn customers and retail customers, your shoppers. i just lumped the two together. >> you see my pawn customer coming until because they're desperate on that particular day. the day those people come in to pawn their items they're desperate, they need $20, need to put food on the table, gas in

their car. on the flip side, the same customer that pawned their item when they get paid and have an anniversary, birthday and engagement, they know the value. my normal customer understands the value because of the pop tearty of our show on -- poll lairty of our show on true tv, that's bringing new customer to our doors and we can show them the great values we can offer. >> do you make use of e-bay and those kinds of sites as well? the first time i tried to buy a used tool i was surprised to find out it was coming out of a pawnshop. >> you know, e-bay is one of those viable options that we use. we have a website if i may say it. it's actually called pawn detroit.com. the internet that we now are able to utilize, i don't get it, i leave that to seth. that's his area. it is a very impressive part of our
